TRAINING SESSION “INTEGRITY; YOUR WAY TO ACADEMIC SUCCESS”

Presenter: Dr. Emad Ibrahim Khalil Mustafa. Title: Integrity; your way to academic success. Location: College Theater. Date: 02/02/1438 AH. Target group: college students. Objectives: 1- Describing to students the importance of integrity and its role in academic achievement. 2- Describing to students the effects of integrity on society and its importance for academic success. 3- Providing students with steps for overcoming obstacles to integrity and achieving academic success. 4. Employing academic achievement and effective studying techniques to raise students’ intellect. 5. Promoting the values of loyalty and patriotism among the students through integrity and the prohibition of deviant behavior. 6. Strengthening the students’ sense of belonging and integrity for the glory of the society and the nation. In collaboration with the Student Activities Unit at the college, the Department of Islamic Studies held a training session titled "Integrity; your way to academic success", in Zulfi Colleges Complex Theater. Dr. Emad Ibrahim Khalil Mustafa, an associate professor and the Head of the Quality Unit at the department, presented the session as part of the unit’s action plan. At first, he addressed the concept of integrity, its obstacles, how to gain it and how it leads to academic success. Then, described several effective studying techniques to help students reach academic success. Moreover, the session was attended by the Dean of the college, the Vice-Dean for Student Affairs, the Vice-Dean for Scientific Research, the Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs as well as several faculty members and students. At the end of the session, everyone praised the event, and recommend further sessions that directly pertain to the students.
