Reception Ceremony of New Students for 1436-1437 H

Out of the willingness of Majmaah University to further communication with university students, the Dean of the Faculty of Education in Zulfi, Dr. Rashid Al-Thunayan, sponsored the reception ceremony of the new students at the departments of Islamic studies and English language for the academic year 1436-1437 H. on Tuesday and Wednesday, 17-18 / 11/1436 H. The Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs, Vice Dean of Student Affairs, Head of Islamic Studies Department and head of the Department of English Language together with the faculty members attended the celebration. The dean of the college welcomed the students, wishing them success in their academic life. In addition, he introduced them to the College facilities, departments, the services provided to students as well as the ways of communication with the college, emphasizing the willingness of the college staff to provide excellent service to them. Then, a brief presentation of the services, along with student activities and the accomplishments achieved last year was made. Afterwards, the Vice-Dean for Student Affairs Department gave a speech in which he welcomed the fresh students and showed them the services provided by the department, explaining how to use them and urging them to register for the cultural, sports and social activities. Furthermore, the Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs spoke about the important role of academic units at the Academic Department in achieving the vision and mission of the College. He concluded his speech emphasizing the importance of communication with the units to take advantage of their programs and services. Moreover, the heads of English department and the Islamic Studies department gave another presentation on the plans of each department. They urged students to follow the plan in order to achieve success in their academic study. Then, the University bags, including brochures of student affairs and the services provided to students in addition to a handbook about frequently asked questions related to students in their University, were distributed at the end of the celebration.
