PARTICIPATION IN THE FORUM ON DEVELOPMENT AND QUALITY AT THE HIGHER EDUCATION SECTOR – EXPERIENCES OF SAUDI UNIVERSITIES
Dr. Nawal Mahjoub- from the Department of Chemistry- participated with a research paper in the Forum of Development and Quality in the Higher Education Sector – Saudi Universities’ Experiences which was held at Shqraa University on Sunday 28/12/1436. Dr Mahjoub's paper focused on the Learning management system D2L used in Majmaah University and was delivered in the panel on Recent Developments in the applied programs of information technology and e-Learning.The forum discussed several topics such as the programs and ways of spreading the culture of quality in universities, experiences of Saudi Universities and academic accreditation, overcoming obstacles and difficulties regarding the preparation and implementation of the strategic plan, assessment of the teaching process at universities as well as the latest developments in the applied programs of information technology and e-Learning.
