Influence of Obesity on Students’ Knee Joint

In line with the national campaign against obesity with Kyle Society, the Office of the Dean of Student Affairs organized a lecture on the influence of obesity on knee joint. The lecture was presented by Dr. Shadi bin Abdullah Al Shwaer.
The lecture aimed to identify the risk of obesity and its significant impact on bones and joints. As a matter of face, joints suffer from overweight. It occurs frequently during walk particularly in pelvic joint or the back of the spine.

The Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Ofaisan stated that this lecture is one of several programs offered by the Office of the Dean of Student Affairs to participate in the national campaign against obesity with Kyle Society in line with the guidance of the university Rector Dr. Khalid bin Said AlMuqren, and the follow up of the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs Dr. Ahmed bin Ali Al Rumaih.
