Education College in Zulfi Completes the Courses in Occupational Health and Safety of Labs to Obtain OHSAS 18001
In the framework of qualifying labs of the Education College in Zulfi in order to obtain the Occupational Health and Safety Certification (OHSAS 18001), the College completed conducting a number of specialized courses aim to providing the safe and healthy environment for study and research as well as recruiting national competencies with high performance in teaching , researching and providing community services. The College was concerned about both launching the improvement project for the labs of scientific departments and obtaining the Occupational Health and Safety management system Certification (OHSAS 18001). The College submited the project proposal to the Vice-Rector, Dr. Musallam Aldosari, who supported the project and was glad to improve the quality and performance of the University. As part of achieving that certification, the Education College held many courses in cooperation with the Department of Occupational and Environmental Health and in participation and supervision of the Director, Mr. Abdelelah A. Al-Mutairi. The courses were concerned about promoting the awareness of occupational safety among the students and faculty members. Other courses were held to prepare and qualify the internal auditors and to prepare the plans of auditing based on remedial action forms.
