The Saudi Cifal Center participated actively in the second edition of the Qatar Social Responsibility Conference and Exhibition, held from April 30 to May 2, 2024 at the Qatar National Convention Center.
This conference is part of the National Social Responsibility Program and a acts as a platform that brings together specialists, industry leaders and academics to promote sustainable development and highlight Saudi Arabia's ongoing efforts in this field.
Commenting on the participation, Dr. Ayman Al-Barakati, the director of the Center, commended the continuous support the center receives from the rector, Prof. Al-Mezal, and his vice-, Prof. Al-Dosari, pointing out that this reflects the deep interest in enhancing skills in the field of social responsibility and sustainability.
The Cifal's participation featured integrate economic, social and environmental goals into the work of institutions which attracted a large number of visitors.
On the sidelines of the conference, constructive meetings were held with Dr. Saif Al-Hajri, CEO of the Qatar National Social Responsibility Program, and Dr. Bader Al-Ismail, Chairman of the Social Responsibility Committee at Qatar University. During these meetings, ways of cooperation were discussed to enhance social responsibility and sustainability practices.
Meetings were also held with representatives of the International Labor Organization and UNESCO Partnerships Departments to discuss opportunities for cooperation and partnership.
