World Wildlife Day

Sustainable Development Goal 15 focuses on boosting the awareness about the importance of biodiversity. To achieve this, the United Nations set March 3rd for wildlife each year, and the theme of the 2024 was “Connecting People and Planet: Exploring Digital Innovation in Wildlife Conservation.”

World Wildlife Day allows us to learn about many wild creatures, whether animal or plant, through seminars or scientific meetings to contribute to raising awareness about preserving animals and eliminating any threat surrounding them. By the same token, this day reminds us of the need to combat crimes against wildlife and limit human activities that cause the reduction of these species.
