On June 8, the world celebrates World Oceans Day. The concept of World Oceans Day was proposed in 1992 at the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro to raise awareness about the important role of the oceans in our lives and to draw the world's attention to the problems that the oceans suffer from.

The oceans are the heart center of this planet. The oceans regulate the climate, feed millions of people each year, produce oxygen, and provide a habitat for an enormous diversity of wildlife.

The oceans have been negatively affected by human activities such as abuse, chaotic and illegal fishing, destructive fishing, as well as unsustainable aquaculture practices, sea pollution, destruction of marine life, climate change and ocean acidification.

Therefore, we must remind everyone of the importance of the role that the oceans play in our daily lives to create a global movement that brings together people's interest in the oceans.
