A training course for the college staff entitled “Advanced Skills of Word Processor Application” was held in Zulfi with the support of the Training Unit at the College of Science. The course which was presented by Dr.

The Student Advising Unit at the College of Science in Zulfi organized a program entitled "Mental Health Day".

The College of Science in Zulfi, represented by Unit of Community Service in the female campus held a course titled: “Arabic Gum, the forgotten African Food”, presented by Dr. Mai Makki.

The first Student Advisory Council for the academic year 1439 - 1440 AH was held within the framework of maintaining the quality of the educational process, and within Mathematics Department’s efforts to engage students in the department’s plans and activities.

A 10-hour course on English for Science and Technology was conducted by the Committee of Translation and Editing. The course was divided into three sections. “English in computing”.

In cooperation with the Department of Mathematics, the Unit organized a special program held off campus for the children of the Charitable Society for Orphan Girls.

The Student Activity Unit at the College of Science in Zulfi organized a program entitled "Together for Green Parks".

The program aims to increase green areas and the number of trees in town.

The Department of Computer Science and Information held its third meeting for the academic year 1439/1440 AH, in which Dr. Talal Al Harbi presented a research paper entitled “Security in Software Defined Networks.”

Under the guidance of the head of Department of Computer Science and Information, Dr. Fayez Abdul Rahman Al-Fayez, Committee of Graduation Projects held a workshop on graduation projects.

The Department held its fourth scientific meeting for the first semester of the academic year 1439-1440 by Dr. Waseem Hussein entitled "On a subfamily of holomorphic p-valent functions".

The Department of Computer Science and Information at the College of Science in Zulfi ( female campus) organized a Scientific Research Week which included scientific seminars, meetings, lectures and workshops related to the future of scientific research and the common topics addressed in the fiel

The Training Unit at the College of Science in Zulfi and in cooperation with the Department of Computer Science held a training course for female students entitled: “Technical English for Computer Science”.

The students of Mathematics Department (female campus) visited the college’s library accompanied by some faculty members. During the visit, the students were introduced to some issues of paramount significance to each student and researcher.

Within the framework of the need to engage students in extracurricular activities, and under the guidance of the Dean Dr. Hani bin Ali Quhaiz and Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Sayer Al-Harbi, a presentation was given by the Physics Club on 'Ozone Layer'.

Within the framework of the Mathematics Department's concern to develop the students' skills in writing graduation projects, a workshop was conducted on the use of the program (Math Taype) in writing graduation projects under the follow-up and guidance of the head of the department, Dr.

The Committee of Graduation Project conducted a preliminary viva examination during which students gave presentations to report the progress of their projects.

The Quality Assurance Unit organized the “Quality Week” in the Department of Computer Science and Information to improve the quality of the educational process and to promote the quality culture to the faculty members.

The department held its second scientific meeting for the academic year 1439/1440.
Dr. Hassan Abdultawab presented a research paper entitled: A Note on Hall's Septic Residue Sequence.

Through a video conference, Dr. Mohammed Al-Sayed Jaffar, a member of the Center at the College, presented a workshop on the role of research with regard to community service .
